FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Communities

1What is a “Community”?
A Community is a company, an institution, a club,… that accepts “Exclusive Offers” targeting its Beneficiaries from Merchants and other Service Providers (Businesses of all sorts) registered on Kireego. For example, a company can allow Merchants to propose Exclusive Offers targeting its employees, a club targeting its members, a hotel targeting its guests during their stay, a service targeting its users, etc… Communities are clearly distinguishable on Kireego, have a profile allowing Businesses to propose Offers for its Beneficiaries, which it can approve or refuse.
2What are “Beneficiaries”?
Communities decide who their Beneficiaries are. Whether employees of a large company, members of a club, customers of a hotel, visitors of an event, users of a service, students of a university… they are the targets of the Exclusive Offers made by Businesses.
3What is an “Exclusive Offer”?
They are Offers created by Businesses reserved exclusively for the Beneficiaries of the targeted Communities on the platform. Businesses create and modify their Offers at any time and the “managers” of the targeted Communities verify and approve them based on their own, particular strategy.
4How can I know if my organization can be a Community?
If you have Beneficiaries to whom you wish to bring additional value by granting them access to Exclusive Offers from Businesses of all sorts, or if you wish to monetize the value of your Community by charging for access to it via Exclusive Offers, then you are a potential Community. Please contact us.
5Do Communities need to install any software or hardware?
No. Kireego allows streamlined, one-click management and approval of Exclusive Offers. Communities use Kireego’s white-labeled mobile application to allow their Beneficiaries to discover the Offers each Community approves, which is branded with the Community’s identity.
6Does the Community need to share the personal or contact details of its Beneficiaries?
Absolutely not!! Kireego produces “activation codes” that each Community distributes to its Beneficiaries to activate the mobile application. No personal details are necessary and the Beneficiaries can use it without needing to register in any way.
7My Community already has a mobile application or other means of communicating Offers to its Beneficiaries!
The mobile application Kireego proposes is a free option made available to Communities. If they already have other means of communicating with their Beneficiaries, (in-house app, website, intranet…), Kireego also proposes an API that pushes approved Offers to the pre-existing means of communication.
8What is the cost for a Community?
It depends on the type of Community, the number of Beneficiaries, the presence or not of pre-existing Offers for its Beneficiaries, the degree to which it wishes to customize the Kireego mobile application or integrate it into its own app via an API, but above all, it depends on the Community’s objectives. Does it only wish to streamline management of existing Offers and provide more value for its Beneficiaries, or does it want to monetize its own value on the platform to generate revenue via approved Offers?
